Powerful. Intelligent. Flexible. Hunter’s new ACC2 controller delivers advanced water management to meet the demands of large-scale commercial projects.

At its core, the ACC2 has a powerful transformer, allowing it to safely run up to 14 valves simultaneously, bringing maximum efficiency to large watering schedules. The ACC2 can be configured for any commercial project, from 12 to 54 stations, with up to 6 flow meter inputs, and up to 6 pump/master valve outputs. Its easy-to-read color backlit display and unique reversible facepack make program setup and diagnostics fast and efficient.

The ACC2 has built-in intelligence, with the ability to maintain preset flows on up to 6 flow zones simultaneously. It continually monitors the system for breaks, leaks and electrical faults, interrupting irrigation and pinpointing the source should problems arise. It can even respond to sensor input with specific actions like switching water supplies when water levels drop, or initiating a program when soil moisture is low, and other creative special applications.

The ACC2 offers extreme flexibility with 32 independent programs, 10 start times, and a variety of overlapping, stacking, and flow management configurations. Innovative Conditional Response features use sensor input and other conditions to automatically take pre-programmed actions.  Optional external alarm output alerts maintenance personnel to alarm conditions, and the available Wi-Fi module works with nearly any mobile device.

With the ACC2, you’ve got the most advanced commercial controller available, with maximum capability for your largest projects.

ADVANCED FEATURES

REAL TIME FLOW MONITORING

This feature permits connection of a flow meter to recognize high or low flow conditions and react automatically to alarms. The controller learns typical flows for each zone of irrigation and then monitors performance during automatic irrigation. When incorrect flows are detected, the controller can identify the faulty station and shut it down. Alarm parameters are user-programmable. Flow totals are recorded in controller memory to report system water usage.

FLOW SCHEDULING / FLOW BUDGETING

The ACC2 has built-in intelligence, with the ability to schedule stations on up to 6 flow zones simultaneously. It continually monitors the system for breaks, leaks and electrical faults, suspending irrigation and pinpointing the source should problems arise. It can even respond to sensor input with specific actions like switching water supplies when water levels drop, or initiating a program when soil moisture is low, and other creative special applications.

EASY RETRIEVE® MEMORY

A manual back-up utility that stores complete controller scheduling and setup information in back-up memory. This allows the saved watering schedule to be restored at any time. This can be used to set a controller back to its initial settings after tampering or at the beginning of a new season.

CONDITIONAL RESPONSE

Innovative Conditional Response features use sensor input and other conditions to automatically take pre-programmed actions. Switch from one water supply to another during scheduled irrigation based on level sensors, automatically start specialty programs on sensor input, or create other responses to fit your unique needs with this all-new feature set.

PASSWORD PROTECTION WITH USER MANAGEMENT

Create multiple user IDs with individual PIN numbers and two levels of access. Crew level access allows manual operations and the ability to view programming. Admin level access allows for modifying programming and other settings. When User Management is enabled, operators will be required to enter their pin before operating the controller. You can even review user log-ins in the controller log.

MAINSAFE™ WATER SOURCE PROTECTION

MainSafe is an additional level of water source and mainline protection, above the flow zone level. Using a dedicated flow sensor and master valve, the MainSafe settings can protect long runs of mainline pipe, allow dedicated lines for manual irrigation, and monitor monthly usage budgets for multiple flow zones.

DELAY BETWEEN STATIONS

Users can program a delay between stations as the controller advances from one station to the next. This delay can range from a few seconds (to permit slow-closing valves additional time to close) to a much longer period of time (to allow pressure tanks time to recharge), based on user requirements.

CALENDAR DAYS OFF, BY DATE

ACC2 allows users to specify Calendar Days Off up to a year in advance. Create a list of dates on which the whole controller will not be allowed to run, regardless of Water Day settings.

SENSOR PROGRAMMABILITY

The ability to specify which program will be shut down in response to a specific sensor alarm. This allows programs unaffected by the sensor to continue automatic operations.

CYCLE AND SOAK

This water-saving feature allows the operator to specify a maximum cycle time for each single station in hours, minutes, or seconds, followed by a minimum soak time, to prevent runoff from slopes or saturated soil. The operator can enter any run time, and the controller will automatically divide it into cycles to allow the water to be absorbed during the soak periods. The feature is adjustable for each individual station or Block of stations for unique soil and site conditions.
